HRB 30-year anniversary conference

On 30 November 2016 the Health Research Board will host the “HRB 30-year anniversary conference”. Irish and international speakers will come together in Dublin Castle, to demonstrate the contribution that health research can make to better health, better patient care and better policy.

 International experts include:

– Dr Shoo K. Lee, MBBS, PhD, FRCPC, Scientific Director, Canadian Institutes of Health Research, Institute of Human Development, Child and Youth Health;

– Professor Mike Kelly, Senior Visiting Fellow in the Primary Care Unit at the Institute of Public Health and a member of St John’s College at the University of Cambridge.

Irish contributors include: Simon Harris TD, Minister for Health, Tony O Brien, Director General, Health Services Executive; Dr Tony Holohan, Chief Medical Officer, Department of Health.
