HRB launch new call for Research Leaders in health

Research Leader Awards 2020

The Health Research Board funded Research Leader Award scheme aims to develop a cohort of people who will lead the generation of new evidence that will drive changes in people’s health, clinical practice, health care delivery and policy. It targets people in an academic setting who have a strong track record as investigators in their area of expertise and can demonstrate they are ready to transition to leadership.

The €7.5 million investment will support up to five awards. Each award will have a maximum value of €1.5 million, including overheads. Application for the award is a two-stage process. Stage 1 opened on the 4th March and closes on 9th May 2019.

There will be a webinar about the call at 3.00 pm Monday 11 March 2019. Register for the webinar here.
